| Description: The customer was looking to take advantage of the amazing view potential at the crest of Phinney Ridge when he purchased his residence. Now working with SSI and Woollen Studio Inc., the plan has been set in to motion. The project will begin with lifting the house to transform the existing ¾ height basement to a full height basement with an open floor plan. The basement will be transformed into a complete living space. Some of the additions will include a new kitchen, interior staircase, and a separate entrance. New structural beams will be installed to span the length of the house to eliminate the need for posts. A new radiant heating system will be installed under the new acid washed concrete floors. The second phase of the project will be to renovate the main floor of the residence and add a second story to complete the remodel.
